HTML Drawarea
Drawarea is a digital reincarnation of pencil and paper.
DA is developed in JavaScript/ECMAScript, does not require plugins (except Flash on IE) and can be easily embedded into web-page.
State
In active development.
License
MIT license.
Compatibility
DA will work in all modern browsers, including Internet Explorer (6+) with Flash installed.
Some planned features
- canvas is in 2.5d: zoom, scroll and aspect (rotation);
- in- out- SVG support;
- downloadable fonts;
- layers;
- timeline (however I don't promise this in started release);
- etc..
Development demo
do not work in IE so far..
Best result in Firefox 3 and Safari (no rendering issues).
Dev center and source repo
coming soon (or later)

Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/Moscow' for 'MSD/4.0/DST' instead in /usr/local/www/sites/drawarea.com/index.php on line 172
